Hyundai - Error Code P0112

The P0112 code occurs when the engine control module (ECM) has recorded the Intake Air Tempertature (IAT) sensor input is lower than the expected range. Specifically, if the OUTPUT voltage is less than 0.18V for 0.5 seconds or longer.
CAUSES:
Corroded or faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor connectors or wiring
High intake air temperature
Damaged Intake Air Temperature (IAT) connector
Short or ground on signal circuit
Dirty/blocked air filter
Defective Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
Bad Powertrain Control Module
SYMPTOMS:
Check Engine Light
Potential Limp Mode
Engine may be hard to start
Bad fuel mileage
Potential black smoke out of exhaust
DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR:
Replacing the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) connector
Replacing the wiring as necessary
Replacing the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) with a completely new sensor
