Hyundai - Error Code P0110

The P0110 code occurs in the engine control unit when it finds a problem with the intake air temperature sensor. It can be either a faulty sensor itself or a wiring problem. The P0110 code refers to an electrical circuit problem specifically.
CAUSES:
- Faulty Intake Air Temperature sensor
- Dirty air filter
- Intake Air Temperature short in wiring
SYMPTOMS:
- Check Engine Light
- Irregular fuel consumption
- Rough Idle
- Poor Performance
DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR:
- Remove the Intake Air Temperature sensor connector and check for corrosion.
- Inspect the wires and check for any shorts between them.
- Remove the engine control unit connector and measure the sensor from there. If different values, replace or repair the wiring and test.
- Replace the engine control unit completely.
